Mostly what I see open that late are pubs and restaurants with Wifi, most famously McMenamins. Our local McMenamins is kinda eh. The one at Mall 205 is better. But what might work best of all is Elmers--anyone know how late they're open?
BTW, Mark, please pipe up because we consider you a member at this point ...
That is, if you still love us.
Oooo, good call on Elmer's. The one in Vancouver is only open until 9, Mall 205 location until 10 but the Delta Park Elmer's location is open until 11 (that trucker's hours thing). I'm game for any location if everyone else is good with Elmer's.
I'm around! I just need to know when and where.
I'm not sure if all the locales have Wifi--the Mall 205 definitely does. Rory and I have used it.Isn't there one near I-205 and Hwy 14? I don't know if they have Wifi either. If possible I'd like to meet next week. Morning, afternoon and evening is all good. This weekend is doable but I have things going on during the day. Weekdays are a bit easier, especially during regular work hours as restaurants are typically less crowded then.We may also be able to snag a meeting room in a library. I believe they give those little study rooms on a first-come, first served at the Camas library. They're pretty nice.
Meetings ought to continue to allow for working people to attend. 6 or 7 pm would be best and really, meetings should only be two or three hours at the most. Don't know why WiFi would be overly important at the meetings unless someone is surfing during the meeting or is plain-out addicted to the Internet. There's never been an Elmer's at I-205 and Hwy 14. I think you're thinking of the I-205 and Mill Plain location, the only Elmer's in Vancouver.I say Mall 205 Elmer's at 7 p.m. this coming Friday, January 22nd. Who's in?
