I'm down a few thousand words even with a few additional scene and setting details. This puppy is ready to roll. Which means this is my last excuse. I now have to do more research on Preditors and Editors and find the next agent I want to query.
Once again I'm very excited about working on the second novel in this universe, Signet. But I'll be good and do that research first.

Woo Hoo! I'm so happy for you to have Masks ready to go out into the world. Our first fledgling INK novel is taking wings. *sniff*

And go go go on the research. So you can write Signet so I can read it!

Yay! I'll definitely keep sending sections to INK and Lucky Labs, too. No sense in putting it away completely.
I submitted queries to two more agencies today. One has you fill out a form, which was sort of creepy but made things very easy. The other had a depressing feature on the website--how many submissions they receive per second. 14 per second when I submitted! Oh the pain.
So now I can wait a week, or since I did two, two weeks, and focus on writing again. Glug. This whole finding an agent process is very disheartening.
